Cheap Date debut
for new car! 9.11.06 -
After Slummit Point it appeared the race season was over.
However, a special opportunity arose and Brian took over a virtually
brand new G Production Golf 2. The race weekend started off
slow but car and driver improved in each session, culminating in a
class win Saturday. More to follow with the brand new car.

12 Hours at the
Point 7.30.06 - The race
was going great until about 5:54 into the 12 hours. Brian had
a major off coming onto the front straight which gained him press
around the world. Thankfully, he walked away.

Memorial Day Triple
Points Regional 5.28.06 -
Unfortunately "it" happened. The Big One on the front straight
just as the pack took the green flag. The #3 Brian's Garage
Golf was collected in a huge mess of smoke, tire squeal and crunched
sheet metal. The team was able to get the car back together
for Brian to finish 4th on Sunday morning.

Cheap Date weekend
9.11.05 - In all it was a
very run of the mill race weekend, the only glitch being a stuck
tranny syncro that required the gear box to come out between
qualifying and the race on Sunday

Little LeMans
Enduro yields 3rd overall!
8.27.05 - Jeremy Shappard and Brian
drove an incredible race, on the lead lap or leading for the last 40
minutes. Ultimately the #3 car finished 3rd overall behind a
T2 350Z and ITE BMW.

Watkins Glen
Regional downer 7.25.05 -
Brian qualified an amazing 16th out of 67 cars on his first visit to
the Glen. Unfortunately a miscue with the armco going into the
boot brought an end to the race after 3 laps.

nose of a student's car into the side of the instructors car.
Tsk tsk! |

Cheap Date '04
9.11.04 - An exploded distributor
left Brian stranded at T3 on Saturday. Sunday proved to be a
bit nicer to the #3 ITA driver as he finished 6th overall.

9.07.03 - Brian's Garage Racing continued to
improve on their results with a strong 5th place overall at NHIS

#3 is 2nd in class
for 3 Hour Enduro
Brian teamed up with Regional EP
Champion Marco Megliola to take home a 2nd in class in the first
Little LeMans Enduro at NHIS. Running as high as 4th overall
the team had a major setback with an hour remaining as the transfer
pump failed. Expert crew work by Jason and Stewart got the
part replaced in 5 minutes but the 2 lap lead by the #98 was a
little too much to overcome.

#3 ITA Golf takes
7th in first outing
After finishing the new car with a
scant 9 hours to spare, Brian qualify 7th for the race. Mechanical
problems retired the car on day one. Day two brought
bright sun and competitive times for a new car. After
qualifying 8th Brian ran alone most of the race to finish 7th.
An excellent first outing.

16V Golf becomes IT
car for 2003 season
Brian had been looking for a new
car to try his hand in a different class for some time and was just
about to begin work on an old Scirocco shell when a "friend of
a friend" offered up an ex-Firehawk endurance car that had been
sitting idle for some time. The car was finished hours before
the first race.

Last Lap Letdown at
Cheap Date
9.08.02 - The
last race of the year at NHIS brought a high and a low. Brian
took Saturday's race easily from pole and had things looking great
for Sunday. Again, Brian captured the pole and led 19 laps, then on
the last lap Brian radioed in that the motor had begun to break up
at high rpm. J Leone was able to outdrag him up the hill and
around to the checkered, leaving the #01 in second.

From Last On The
Grid to 2nd Place at NHIS
8.25.02 - Practice turned
into a race against time when a valve train component failed.
Despite Brian racing back to the shop to grab replacement parts
there just wasn't enough time when to finish the surgery and get the
motor tuned. He started the race from the back of the grid.
At the start Brian slid by almost half the field before the exit of
T2! He went on to battle Fred White but in the end fell just
short, despite some incredible driving and tactics.

2 Wins at NHIS
Double Regional Event
7.14.02 - The annual mid
Summer "Pig Roast" themed double regional was full of
action. If the extreme heat were not enough, the ITC
cars were grouped with the faster ITA drivers again. From the
green flag Brian took off on his ITC mates and began dicing with the
A cars, passing many before the end of the first lap!
